The Department of Defense has identified 3,608 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

GREKA, Allen A., 29, Sgt., Army; Alpena, Mich.; Third Infantry Division.

KUBE, Christopher D., 18, Pfc., Army; Sterling Heights, Mich.; Second Infantry Division.
